Today's word of the day is: Bookman
Bookman: n. 1. He's a man! 2. Made of books! 3. With a plan! 4. Have a look! 5. He's the Incredible 100-Book-Capacity Leatherbound-Hardback-Preferred Mahogany Bookman!
In our last episode, Nosy Newslady Rois Rane found herself locked in a dungeon with nothing to read. We now rejoin the action as Rois tries in vain to remember relevent plot points from The Da Vinci Code.
"As hard as I try, I can only remember four Grand Masters of the Priory of Sion," Rois bemoaned. "If only I had a reference book with me--or if the Incredible Bookman were here."
"Oh, Bookman!" Rois gushed. "Is that a thesaurus on your middle shelf, or are you just happy to see me?"
"Um...both," Bookman confessed.
Suddenly, Dastardly Doctor Disaster leapt into the room. "I knew you would fall for my trap, Incredible Bookman! Now prepare to meet your doom!"
"Ninja book skills? Nobody told me you had ninja book skills. Yikes!" Dastardly Doctor Disaster quickly fled the scene.
"My hero!" shouted Rois. She put her arms around Bookman and found herself kissing a formidable history of the Peloponnesian War.
THE END...or is it?
